Course Numbering System
The Office of Registrar at Chengdu University of Technology is responsible for the interpretation and enforcement of academic regulations, part of which is the explanation of course numbering system. This system helps advisers and students find appropriate courses. Please use the following table to determine the skill level of courses offered.
| 1100-1999 | Undergraduate; Introductory course; No prerequisites: Open to all students. |
| 2100-2999 | Undergraduate; Lower-division course; Primarily open to freshmen and sophomores, may have prerequisites. |
| 3100-3999 | Undergraduate; Upper-division course; Open to sophomores, juniors and seniors, prerequisites. |
| 4100-4999 | Undergraduate; Upper-division course; Primarily open tojuniors and seniors, prerequisites. |
